Certificate in Counselling Skills – Seminar Leader

We are seeking a Seminar Leader for our Diploma in Counselling Skills course from September 2020, teaching a cohort of up to 20 students.

The course runs in Chelmsford over three terms each academic year, starting in September and ending in July. There are 30 seminars over the year, Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8pm.

This is a permanent position, and the rate of pay is £34:10 per teaching hour.

There is additional remuneration for new applicant interviews, staff meetings and student assessments,

Vacancies for Clinical Supervisors for Qualified Counsellors

We have opportunities for experienced psychodynamic supervisors for weekly groups of qualified psychodynamic counsellors (max. 4 counsellors per group). You must have a relevant psychodynamic counselling qualification and a recognised clinical supervision qualification. You must be an active member of, and individually accredited by, BACP (or equivalent accrediting organisation).

Each supervision group meets for 1.5 hours per week for 42 weeks per year. There is flexibility with regard to days and times of groups.

Additionally we have an opportunity for an experienced psychodynamic supervisor to supervise a small group of qualified couples counsellors twice per month on a Monday.

Supervision groups take place either at CCF’s premises in central Chelmsford or via Zoom.

Attendance is required at regular supervisors’ meetings and brief reports on groups are required for these meetings. Attendance can be via Zoom if necessary.

An annual appraisal and report for each individual supervisee is also required

The current hourly rate is £34.10 and there is further remuneration for meetings and reports where applicable.
